Blackpool officials have asked people not to travel to the resort town this weekend as venues and attractions are still closed.
The government relaxed lockdown rules this weekend to allow people to "drive to other destinations" in England and meet one person outside their households outdoors.
But Blackpool tourism chiefs say they are “not ready to roll out the welcome mat just yet”. Instead they have asked visitors to “be patient, exercise extreme caution and not come back” to the seaside town “until it is safe to do so”.
