Boots staff feel 'unsafe' as customers continue to shop during lockdown

Boots workers say they are concerned about their safety at work as customers continue to browse make-up aisles and beauty counters during the lockdown period.

Pharmacies have been told to remain open, however with products such as hair dye and cosmetics still on shelves, customers are still visiting in search of non-essential items.

Staff say they are frustrated that some branches have reopened beauty aisles and lifted limits on the number of shoppers allowed inside at once.

In some cases, branches are still waiting for visors, face masks and gloves for pharmacy workers. One staff member who works on the pharmacy at a branch in south-west England told the BBC she was wearing her own gloves to work because her team had not been provided with
