Labour have branded Boris Johnson “beyond reckless” after he visited a vaccine firm despite a coronavirus outbreak at the site.
The Prime Minister went to Valneva in Livingston, Scotland, last Thursday during a controversial trip north of the border. But according to the Daily Record, the visit came just 24 hours after a public health probe at the site which uncovered 14 coronavirus cases – about one in eight of the workforce.
Labour MSP Neil Findlay said it was “absolutely extraordinary” Johnson continued with his “politically motivated PR visit” despite the outbreak.
