A young man shot dead in his kitchen has been described by his family as a "warm, friendly and handsome" son who cared for his disabled mum.
The dad of tragic Michael Rainsford spoke of his grief about the murder of his much-loved son four days ago. He described how the talented skateboarder, hit by two bullets while downstairs in his Litherland home, was never in trouble with police and wasn't a stereotypical "lovable rogue", the Liverpool Echo reported.
In an emotional and wide-ranging tribute, grief-stricken parent Mr Rainsford, 53, also called Michael, told how the part-time landscape worker regularly looked after his mum Joanne, 43, who suffers with DiGeorge Syndrome and a form of psychosis.
