Boy, 8, fighting for life after being attacked by a pack of dogs in house

An eight-year-old boy is fighting for life after being mauled by a pack of Rottweilers on the outskirts of Dublin. The boy was rushed to Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries after the horror attack at a house in Saggart.

He was then transferred to a specialist children’s hospital near Crumlin. The horror attack took place at 4pm this afternoon.

A Gardai spokesman said: "Today Sunday 22nd March at approximately 4pm, a male child (8) was seriously injured following a reported attack by a number of dogs at a house in the Tallaght area.
