“Saturday Night Live” brought some real star power to the second “At Home” special over the weekend, tapping Brad Pitt to kick open the show, while making his first “SNL” appearance in over 20 years.

Pitt made a surprising and unannounced cameo as Dr. Anthony Fauci, one of the leading members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force.

The appearance comes a few weeks after Fauci said in an interview that, if portrayed on “SNL”, he’d loved to be played by Pitt himself.

The cold open saw Fauci addressing the American People, and clarifying some recent remarks made by President Donald Trump regarding the coronavirus. “First, I’d like to thank all the older women in America who have sent me supportive, inspiring, and sometimes graphic emails,”
