Images of Wuhan scientists handling bats while wearing very little protection have vanished off a Chinese laboratory's website.
In the last month, Wuhan's Institute of Virology has removed photographs of scientists working in its laboratories. The lab specialises in researching the most dangerous pathogens.
It was created after the SARS outbreak in 2002 and 2003. UK officials are said to now investigating the “possibility of a link” over the outbreak of the virus with the centre.
