Jared Polis, the patient has no history of travel leading to an investigation as to where he may have contracted the virus.He wrote: “The individual has no close contacts identified so far but public health officials are working to identify other potential cases and contacts through thorough contact tracing interviews.”The United States becomes the latest country to detect the more contagious version of the disease with 17 countries including Australia and South Korea, also identifying it.
