Brit who emigrated to Sweden says ‘its better not having coronavirus lockdown’

A Brit who emigrated to Sweden with his wife and two children says he feels glad he is not stuck in lockdown like in other European countries.

Sweden has kept open all its primary schools and public parks, restaurants and bars during the coronavirus pandemic – only banning large events and asking its citizens to keep a "safe distance".

In an interview with ITV news, the dad said: “Sweden is the better country to be in during the coronavirus crisis because life is going on pretty much as normal. “It makes existing as a family and getting through this crisis just that little bit easier than it would be otherwise.” But the Brit's Swedish wife Karina admitted she has fears for her elderly dad – with half of the country's coronavirus deaths
