While humans across the world are on lockdown in a bid to contain the coronavirus pandemic, nature is beginning to reclaim it.

Stunning aerial pictures show how the often murky waters of Britain's coastline have been transformed during lockdown and look almost tropical.

Incredible photographs captured by drone in Portsmouth, Hants, show the sea looking turquoise and clear. The coronavirus pandemic has stopped leisure traffic on the Solent – making the water and everything that lies beneath it stiller and less disturbed.
