Britain's Prince Charles, the eldest son and heir to Queen Elizabeth II, has tested positive for the new coronavirus, his office has said.
The 71-year-old is displaying mild symptoms of COVID-19 "but otherwise remains in good health", Clarence House said in a statement.
He and his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, are self-isolating at their home in Scotland. The Duchess has been tested also but does not have the virus.
The statement said: "The Prince of Wales has tested positive for coronavirus. "He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual. "The Duchess of Cornwall has also been tested but does not have the virus.
