Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson Hon FRIBA (born 19 June 1964) is a British politician, writer, and former journalist serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since 2019. He was Foreign Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Mayor of London from 2008 to 2016. Johnson was Member of Parliament for Henley from 2001 to 2008 and has been MP for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015. Ideologically, Johnson identifies as a one-nation conservative.

The Queen has been pictured at Windsor Castle as she held her weekly audience with the Prime Minister by telephone. Pictures posted on Twitter by the Royal Family and the Prime Minister shows the Queen on an old fashioned phone in her Berkshire royal residence and Boris Johnson in his Downing Street office holding a phone to his ear.
The weekly audience comes on the same day that Clarence House announced that the Prince of Wales has tested positive for coronavirus.
Buckingham Palace said the Queen, 93, who is staying at Windsor Castle with the Duke of Edinburgh, 98, remains in good health and is following all appropriate advice.
