Brits warned coronavirus lockdown means Spain holidays ‘unlikely until September’

Brits itching for a holiday could have to wait until September to jet off to Spain due to the coronavirus outbreak. Spain is struggling to get to grips with Covid-19 with a reported 140,510 cases and 13,798 deaths in the country.

The sunny country, which sees highs of 20C+ in April, would have been full of UK holidaymakers over the Easter holiday. Sadly, last month, the government chose to lockdown popular resorts in favour for strict social-distancing measures.

As a result, Spain’s beaches, hotels, bars and streets sit empty and the bleak outlook has left many wondering when they’ll be able to return.
