Burnley have this evening confirmed that one of the six positive COVID-19 tests reported by the Premier League on Tuesday came from one of their staff members.
748 players and club staff were tested for COVID-19 on Sunday and Monday, with six testing positive from three different clubs.
The other two clubs remain unknown at this stage. In a statement, Burnley confirmed assistant manager Ian Woan was the person in question with a positive test.
