Cab driver survives Covid, heart attack and stroke after 222 days in hospital

Covid-19 patient, reports MyLondon. At the end of March, at the height of the coronavirus pandemic and when lockdown measures were first put in place, Mr Sakallioglu began feeling unwell.

As the days passed, the cab driver's condition worsened and he started suffering with symptoms of Covid-19.It got to such a critical stage that Mr Sakallioglu's children often sat outside his home in their cars just in case he needed them.On April 3, Mr Sakallioglu's condition got so bad that his daughter, Seniz, called 999.

An ambulance arrived soon after and he was rushed to hospital.Following his admission into University Hospital Lewisham he tested positive for Covid-19.Sadly, on April 7, Mr Sakallioglu suffered a heart attack and had to be transferred.
