A care home has been placed on full lockdown after 12 residents tragically died following a coronavirus outbreak. NHS Fife confirmed a cluster of cases have been reported at West Park Care Home in Glenrothes,Scotland.
It's understood a total of 30 residents have tested positive for the virus, with a further 21 staff contracting Covid. The health board also confirmed that 12 residents had died after contracting the virus.
Visitors are currently banned from the care home, which has now closed temporarily to new admissions. An NHS Fife statement read: "NHS Fife is aware of a cluster of confirmed Covid-19 cases associated with West Park Care Home in Leslie. Have you been affected by this story?
