Elderly residents of a care home have been playing real-life Hungry Hippos amid isolation due to the coronavirus oubtreak. They have been filmed sitting in a circle while holding an upturned basket on the end of a pole - with a huge pile of colourful plastic balls in the middle of them.

Care home staff then wheel the residents forward and backwards as they try to catch as many plastic balls as possible under their baskets.

The balls are dispersed all over the room while residents and staff at the care home in Maesteg, Wales, laugh and have fun together.

Bryn Celyn Care Home said their residents "really enjoyed playing a new game" and there was a lot of "laughter to lift morale".
