Celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke has shared his despair over people doing DIY haircuts during the nationwide lockdown. The iconic hair guru, who has been making many TV appearances during the coronavirus crisis to offer advice to viewers on how to take care of their locks when they can not visit their hairdressers, told BBC Breakfast hosts Dan Walker and Louise Mitchin that he is not a fan of some dodgy snip jobs on adults.

As he appeared on the news show, via video call, on Tuesday morning with his partner Kelly Simpson the pair were shown snaps of haircuts that had been attempted by the not so scissor savvy.

Nicky admitted that some of the radical cuts don't offend him when they are on youngsters but when it comes to adults he isn't
