A statement from Chief Medical Officer Professor Brendan Murphy about an extension to the delivery of the final report of the National Dust Disease Taskforce due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the delivery of the final report of the National Dust Disease Taskforce will be extended until 30 June 2021.

Established on 26 July 2019 by the Australian Government, the Taskforce is committed to delivering high-quality advice for the development of a national approach to the prevention, early identification, control and management of occupational dust diseases in Australia.
