A Church of Scotland minister is offering online memorial services in place of public funerals after the government issued strict social-distancing rules to stop the spread of coronavirus.Reverend Dr Marjory MacLean will record the services alone in a church after meeting relatives.The service will be streamed online for the family and other members of the congregation to watch and pay their respects.The Perthshire minister came up with the scheme after Covid-19 restrictions were placed on traditional funerals, preventing families to say goodbye to their loved ones in mass gatherings.
