Thousands of Scots around the country have shown their support for NHS staff and key workers on the coronavirus frontline for the sixth week.

People took to their windows, doorsteps, gardens and balconies for the sixth time in as many weeks to thank those fighting the deadly virus. 'Clap for our Carers' took place at 8pm throughout the United Kingdom, as health staff and other key workers continued their amazing effort against Covid-19.

The Daily Record has launched our NHS Heroes campaign to thank the remarkable NHS staff who are on the front lines of this coronavirus emergency.

These amazing people place our health above their own and we are inviting the public to pledge their support by placing a heart on their location in the UK.
