Cops probe Ibrox break in after Celtic fan parades Nine in a Row flag on Rangers pitch

Police have launched a probe after a viral clip emerged of a Celtic fan sneaking into Ibrox to parade a Nine in a Row flag.

The two minute clip, which has been circulated widely on social media, shows the fan waving the flag around the empty Rangers stadium.

It is believed that the footage was taken just hours after the Parkhead side were awarded the SPFL Premiership title on Monday.

Police are now investigating the incident. A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The matter has now been reported to Police Scotland and enquiries are at an early stage." The footage comes after Celtic equalled the record for the consecutive number of titles won, after SPFL clubs unanimously agreed to end the league season early amid the coronavirus
