CORONATION Street's Sue Cleaver promised soap bosses are "working day and night" behind the scenes to get the soap filming again.
The Sun previously revealed Coronation Street may be forced off air if it can't resume filming by June. The ITV soap came to a halt in March after filming was suspended to ensure the safety of the cast and crew during the coronavirus pandemic.
But the 56-year-old actress, who sported pink hair during her chat with Lorraine Kelly on GMB, reassured Lorraine she is "waiting on the call" to go back on set.
Sue was adamant that bosses are working around the clock to find a way to get fresh episodes to fans. She said: "Well all you need to know is that there are people working day and night behind the scenes figuring.
