The Coronation Street cast want to be back on the cobbles by June before all the banked episodes run out. Filming stopped on the Manchester soap last month juts before lockdown in the UK amid the coronavirus pandemic.
ITV bosses halved the number of screenings each week to keep the show on the air as long as possible but star Andy Whyment has revealed actors and crew members are keen to get restarted in June.
Andy, who plays Kirk Sutherland, told football podcast United that he and his colleagues are desperate to get back to work. The 39-year-old said: "I think we've got until the beginning of June in the can.
