HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh on Monday reported 14 new cases of coronavirus (covid-19) from Visakhapatnam, Anantapur, Kurnool, Guntur and West Godavari districts.
With this, the total number in the state now stands at 252. According to a media bulletin from the the state government, of the 13 districts in Andhra Pradesh, Kurnool has the highest number of cases at 56 followed by Nellore and Guntur.
The number of cases in the state has been on the rise since more than a week, after the state began tracking all those who had attended a religious congregation at Delhi's Nizamuddin area mid-March.
