Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger has joined forces with TikTok to help students during the coronavirus pandemic. The Terminator actor and former Governor of California, 72, has joined forces with the social media giant to help feed students during the health crisis.

According to TMZ, TikTok will donate $3 million to feed families across the country with Schwarzenegger's After-School All-Stars programme.

The move allows 60 cities to feed students who would usually eat school to get food vouchers to survive the crisis which has seen a large number of schools close.

The plan will aid major cities in the US that have been most hit by the crisis including Los Angeles, New York City, Miami, Washington D.C., San Francisco, and Seattle.
