BBC Breakfast has been forced into a major schedule shake-up as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Hosts Dan Walker and Louise Minchin announced on this morning's show that the regular segments from the BBC's regional news teams will not be aired.

She says: "We've got a change in the programme. At the moment, we are going to have Carol Kirkwood (delivering the weather), basically three minutes to the hour and about 27 minutes past the hour. "Because we are not going to have regional news at those times any more but you can get the news online, or on radio, and at lunchtime news, at tea time news, and the late evening news as well.
