BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker was called out by viewers on Twitter today for his interview with Tory politician Michael Gove.
Many moaned about the interview - calling it "claptrap" and "vomit-induing". The criticism came after Dan, 43, slammed Twitter users making cruel jokes about Boris Johnson while he's in hospital with coronavirus symptoms.
Hitting out at Dan today, one Twitter user raged: "Just wish BBC host Dan Walker would hold Tory politicians to account as much as he holds scared and angry members of the public." While another added: "More sycophantic claptrap from Dan Walker interviewing Gove on BBC." A third chimed in: "Dan Walker really is a complete and utter bootlicker isn’t he?
