A Kilmarnock hardware store worker says they’re risking their life so customers can buy fence paint during the coronavirus pandemic.The irked Screwfix employee this week hit out at members of the public for buying “unnecessary” items such as paint and pressure washers in recent weeks.The worker – who asked to remain anonymous – also claimed that colleagues have limited PPE (personal protective equipment) and have had to buy their own handwash from Tesco.Screwfix has told the Kilmarnock Standard that the safety of their colleagues and customers remains their No 1 priority throughout the coronavirus pandemic.The DIY retailer on Low Glencairn Street in the town is remaining open during the government-imposed lockdown for ‘essential items’.But
