When asked about a report from the World Health Organization (WHO) that found there was “no evidence” a person who had recovered from COVID-19 could not be reinfected again, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in the approach to reopen the country and provinces, none of the approaches “hinge” on possible immunity from the coronavirus.
He said the immunity task force is examining that aspect of the virus, but said despite some countries contemplating issuing immunity passports for those who have recovered, it’s not what Canada is considering as the government wants “clearer answers” on the issue..
