New coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Ayrshire as Scotland's death toll from the disease experienced another double-figure increase.
Tragically, the number of people who have died in Scotland of COVID-19 now stands at 2,386 – which is a rise of 11 from the figure yesterday – although figures released by the National Records of Scotland today report 3,911 deaths linked to the illness have been registered up to Sunday, May 31.
