Coronavirus: Strictly Come Dancing in jeopardy as bosses hold crisis talks

Strictly Come Dancing's next series is currently hanging in the balance as the BBC programme is struggling to book celebrities as the coronavirus pandemic continues.

With the Strictly tour postponed all next year, talk has now turned to the upcoming series, which is due to air in September.

Participants start their dance training in June with the show kicking off in Autumn, however with the UK in lockdown and people urged to socially distance from each other, it is unsure if the popular competition will go ahead.

According to The Sun, producers have been informed that the famous figures may have to sign up for other money-spinning projects to recoup cash they are losing by staying at home in lockdown.
