A dad who survived coronavirus has shared how a breathing technique he adopted saved his life while in the intensive care unit (ICU) at hospital.
Rob Thomas, 59, said he ended up being called the "king of the breathers" during an interview on ITV'sGood Morning Britain today.
The family man was discharged from Gloucestershire Royal Hospital on Sunday after being given just a 50/50 chance of survival when he was admitted.
Speaking on the show, Rob said: "Before the paramedics collected me, my sister Janice, who is a retired nurse, she was speaking to the family on the phone and she said, 'tell Rob to just keep breathing'.
