British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Monday discussed Pfizer’s work on a novel coronavirus vaccine, which data suggests is 90 per cent effective, saying that the U.K.
has secured a large proportion of its doses. Johnson stressed the government will still need to see the full safety data and that it needs to be peer reviewed as well.
He added that people must “wait and see whether this vaccine lives up to its promise,” and that it’s “not necessarily a home run yet.”.
