A Tesco shopper racially abused a six-year-old girl and her mum after getting annoyed at queuing during the coronavirus lockdown.
Peter Haddon, 57, was waiting to get inside the supermarket in Hanley, Staffs, on March 28. It was only letting 50 customers in at a time following government restrictions, Stoke-on-Trent Live reports.
District Judge Kevin Grego told North Staffordshire Justice Centre: “Haddon appeared to be under the influence of something and shouted ‘what the **** is this all about. “There was a lady there with her young daughter and Haddon racially abused them.
