Covid-19: One further death, 21 additional cases

There has been one further death from Covid-19, the Department of Health has confirmed. There has now been a total of 1,749 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland.

There has also been an additional 21 confirmed cases. This brings the total number of coronavirus cases here to 25,698 - this includes the denotification of six confirmed cases Dr Ronan Glynn, Acting Chief Medical Officer, Department of Health, said: "The cases which we will report next week have already been seeded, however we have the power to limit the spread and impact of this disease beyond that.
