Get the stories that matter to you sent straight to your inbox with our daily newsletter.A coronavirus outbreak has been identified at a council building in Motherwell.It is understood eight staff members at North Lanarkshire Council’s Dalziel building have tested positive for the virus over the last week.An entire floor within the building has been closed for a deep clean whilst investigations are being carried out.Council bosses say the cause of the Covid-19 cases has yet to be identified, however contact tracing is now underway.Those who have been in close contact with the infected staff have been told to self isolate.A spokesperson for North Lanarkshire Council said, “A public health assessment led by NHS Lanarkshire into a small number.
