Donald Trump's speechwriter Stephen Miller has tested positive for coronavirus, the White House has confirmed. Miller has been working remotely for five days, since being seen in close quarters with top aide Hope Hicks, who it was revealed had tested positive on Thursday.
He's thought to be the 14th member of the administration to test positive for the disease, following Hicks' positive test. Yesterday Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany tested positive, and since then four members of her press office team have also been diagnosed with Covid-19.
Miller, a key adviser and driving force in Trump's team, is an immigration hardliner and has been described as being on the "hard right".
