All necessary actions are being taken in relation to a crèche worker who has been diagnosed with Covid-19, the Minister for Children has said.
The crèche on the northside of Dublin has become one of the first childcare facilities to report a case of the virus. Parents of children who attend the crèche received notification last Thursday that a member of staff had tested positive for Covid-19.
They were told the staff member was present in the crèche for one day last week and was asymptomatic at the time but tested positive several days later.
The crèche said all protocols from the HSE and Tusla had been followed. Parents of children who had been in contact with the worker had been phoned and appropriate testing had been arranged.
