Salford's infection rate fell by 25pc last week with a reduction in coronavirus cases everywhere across the borough – except for in five neighbourhoods.There were 401 fewer Covid cases reported in the seven days to November 10 than in the previous week, with the rate down to 471.7 per 100,000 people.Some neighbourhoods, such as Paticroft, Barton Upon Irwell and Walkden North East, have seen a fall in Covid cases of more than 50pc in that period.The steepest fall, 65.7pc was Swinton Newton where only 12 new cases were reported during the seven day-period, 23 fewer than in the previous week.But during the same period, the number of Covid cases continued to increase in Walkden North West, Higher Broughton, Broughton Park and Kersal Dale.In.
