Doctors say they are seeing a rise in cases of stress-induced conditions in adults, while children are suffering from more severe respiratory issues after a year of being protected from common colds and flu.

Problems reached a head on Sunday afternoon, August 8, when the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary was forced to declare a 'critical incident', pulling staff out of meetings and sending patients to other hospitals to ease the burden on the emergency department. READ MORE:Carer
