Incredible footage captures how crocodiles, jaguars and sea turtles are "taking back control" of two Mexican resorts as residents were ordered to stay home following a coronavirus lockdown.
In one clip, which has been viewed more than 120,000 times on Facebook, a 3-foot-long crocodile is seen swimming along a canal outside the residencies in the coastal resort of Cancun, Mexico.
A man is heard saying in the background: "It is gigantic!" Another video shows an adventurous jaguar walking along a deserted street in the city at night.
Local media reported that the wild cat was spotted inside the complex of the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa in Tulum.
