Darts star Rob Cross given four donkeys as thank you in heartwarming Covid-19 tale

Darts ace Rob Cross has learned to go the extra mule – after becoming the proud owner of four donkeys. Former world champion Cross, who sent legend Phil Taylor into retirement with a heavy defeat in 2018, rejoins the PDC Home Tour on Saturday night in a tough group including Luke Woodhouse, who hit a nine-darter in the first round.

The live-streamed online event has been anything but a donkey derby for the big guns. But Cross believes he has been digging for victory by preparing a ranch for his new arrivals.
