David Bowie's teenage daughter, Lexi Jones, has issued a plea to her mother Iman, to make sure it "doesn’t take two years," before they are reunited after not seeing her for six months.

The 19-year-old daughter, who was born Alexandria but goes by her nickname Lexi, is self-isolating due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Lexi has opined that she has not seen 64-year-old mother Iman for so long and she revealed on Mother's Day that she's had a 'sad day'.

Posting on Instagram on Sunday, Lexi wrote alongside a photo of her supermodel mother: "Happy Mother’s Day, again. “Here’s another [with] me holding a chikken nugget.
