David Fincher’s 'Mank' should hit Netflix in October

Mank, an upcoming biopic about screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz and his struggles with Orson Welles over credit for Citizen Kane.

It is a very personal film for Fincher, as it was written by his father Jack. Netflix are always rather secretive about the release dates for their movies, but producer Eric Roth has now revealed that the current plan is for Fincher’s first film since 2014’s Gone Girl to arrive in October.

Roth is clearly rather excited about the release of Mank, too, as he told Pardon My Take, via Indiewire, “It’s an incredible piece.
