East Kilbride has tested positive for coronavirus. The East Kilbride News was contacted by a number of worried sources who claimed the fast-food giant had failed to inform staff at the Kingsgate outlet prior to them turning up for a shift and that up to 10 staff members are now self-isolating.
Fears were raised over those who had previously being shielding with claims they were unaware that there had been a confirmed case but a spokesperson for the company insisted that all protocol has been followed.Concerns had also been raised that no deep-clean had been done but the fast-food giant have refuted this claim.
One source told the News: "They aren't warning workers until they have already started their shift or customers - the only whoppers.
