A violent thug who left a police officer needing hospital treatment has been jailed for eight months.Repeat offender Craig Chalmers admitted charges of assault and threatening or abusive behaviour on last Friday (May 22).That followed a disturbance outside Lindsay House in the Village, where he was staying.
