And it's reported the crew and cast still aren't back on set. While ITV soap Emmerdale has already resumed production again, and Coronation Street is expected to next week, EastEnders stars reportedly still don't know when they will return to set.

The programme is expected to run out of episodes this month, and an insider has told The Sun Online that the end date is sooner than fans may have hoped.

PHILADELPHIA - No one was injured after a gunman opened fire on a Philadelphia police officer during a shootout Wednesday afternoon in Germantown.Philadelphia Police Sergeant Eric Gripp told reporters that two plainclothes officers in an unmarked car were patrolling the 4800 block of Keyser Street around 2 p.m. when they came upon a shootout between a 23-year-old and a 20-year-old.
