Ed Sheeran is reportedly not letting any of his pub staff go without their pay packet amid the coronavirus crisis. The singer, 29, who is said to be worth a cool £200million, has taken it upon himself to still pay his staff’s wages despite his Notting Hill pub, Bertie Blossoms, being forced to shut down due to lockdown measures.

The UK government recently ordered all pubs, bars, clubs, restaurants and gyms to close. Schools have been shut and people are being told to stay home and practice social distancing in a bid to control the spread of Covid-19.

Many businesses have taken a hit as a result, with Gordon Ramsay reportedly being forced to lay off 500 of his staff due to temporary restaurant closures.
