EFL confirm 10 positive Covid-19 tests from eight Championship clubs

The EFL have announced that there have been ten positive coronavirus tests across eight clubs in the Championship. It was also confirmed that there were seven positive tests across three clubs in League Two after four sides were tested between Thursday 28 May and Friday 29 May.

No testing programme is currently in place across League One. The EFL confirmed the news in a statement which read: "Following the latest round of COVID-19 testing, the EFL can confirm that 1058 players and Club staff from the 24 Championship Clubs were tested over the course of Thursday 28 May and Friday 29 May, with 10 individuals testing positive from eight Clubs.
